Tiger Electrical Academy is committed to providing top-notch education and training to aspiring electricians and carpenters in and around Philadelphia, equipping them with the skills they need to build a career as an electrician’s assistant or carpenter's assistant. We are a non-profit organization and so rely heavily upon contributions in the form of cash and/or supplies from individuals interested in helping Philadelphia and its residents. Your charitable support can help us expand our reach, improve our facilities, and achieve accreditation to become a pre-apprenticeship school.

Help Us Secure Our Own Building
We’re raising funds to purchase a permanent location for Tiger Electrical Academy. A dedicated space will enable us to expand our programs and provide more opportunities for students. -
Accreditation and Program Expansion
Becoming accredited through National Center for Construction Education & Research NCCER is a vital step in enhancing the credibility and quality of our programs. This accreditation, along with the process of transforming Tiger into a pre-apprenticeship school, requires funding for paperwork and associated costs totaling $12,000. -
Support Staffing Needs
To maintain our operations and serve our students efficiently, we plan to hire a part-time secretary to handle administrative tasks and manage our growing needs. This role will cost approximately $15,000 per year. -
Hands-On Training Equipment
Practical experience is at the heart of what we do. Donations of supplies are crucial to ensuring our students have the materials they need for real-world training.

We also welcome donations of essential carpentry supplies and electrical supplies, including:

Circuit breakers (20amp, 15amp, double 30amp, 50amp – Siemens and Eaton brands preferred)

Outlets (GFCI, duplex outlets, dimmer switches)

Service wire and electrical wire (14/2, 12/2, 14/3, 10/2)

Old and new work device boxes

Panel boxes (100amp), meter sockets (100amp), and other electrical devices (outlets, switches, smoke detectors)
